Responsibilities:
- Managing the day‑to‑day operation of the nursery
- Leading, mentoring and developing a high‑performing Early Years team
- Maintaining compliance with EYFS, safeguarding and statutory requirements
- Building positive relationships with parents and carers
- Monitoring occupancy levels and supporting the continued success of the nursery
- Preparing for and leading Ofsted inspections
- Driving continuous improvement across quality, practice and team performance
- Promoting a positive, inclusive and supportive working culture
About you:
Essential:
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Previous experience managing a nursery setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding responsibilities
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop successful teams
- Genuine commitment to providing high‑quality childcare and early education
Desirable:
- Level 5 qualification in Childcare, Leadership or Management
- Experience leading a nursery through Good or Outstanding Ofsted inspections
