Teaching Assistant – Pewsey, Wiltshire
Pay: Up to £130 per day
Schedule: Monday to Friday, no weekends
Contract: Temporary, term-time only
What You’ll Do
- Provide one-on-one and small group support across a range of subjects
- Assist with classwork, homework, and exam prep
- Help set and monitor individual student targets
- Deliver tailored interventions based on student needs
- Support learning in the classroom and during off-site activities
- Act as a key worker for designated pupils
- Take part in lunch, break, and on-call cover
- Uphold safeguarding and promote student wellbeing
What You’ll Need
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
- Experience working with children or young people in education, care, or community settings
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and basic digital tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, flexible, and team-focused attitude
