We are looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive school environment in Pewsey . This temporary, weekday-only role is perfect for someone eager to make a positive impact on students’ learning—without weekend commitments.
Role Overview
In this rewarding position, you’ll provide classroom and community-based support, assist with personalised learning plans, and help create a positive, inclusive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one and small group support across a variety of subjects
Assist with classwork, homework, and exam preparation
Help set, monitor, and review individual student targets
Deliver tailored interventions based on student needs
Support learning both in the classroom and during off-site activities
Act as a key worker for designated pupils
Assist with lunch, break, and on-call supervision
Promote safeguarding and student wellbeing
What We’re Looking For
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
Experience working with children or young people in education, care, or community settings
Confidence using Microsoft Office and basic digital tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Positive, flexible, and team-oriented attitude
Desirable:
Experience supporting autistic students
Experience assisting with STEM subjects
