We’re seeking a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive educational setting in Devizes, temporary weekday-only role is ideal for someone who wants to make a real difference in students’ lives—without weekend commitments.
In this rewarding position, you’ll provide classroom and community-based support for students, helping to deliver personalised learning plans and contributing to a positive and inclusive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group support across a range of subjects
Assist with classwork, homework, and exam prep
Help set and monitor individual student targets
Deliver tailored interventions based on student needs
Support learning in the classroom and during off-site activities
Act as a key worker for designated pupils
Take part in lunch, break, and on-call cover
Uphold safeguarding and promote student wellbeing
What You’ll Need:
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
Experience working with children or young people in education, care, or community settings
Confidence using Microsoft Office and basic digital tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, flexible, and team-focused attitude
Bonus if you have:
Experience supporting autistic students
