Make a Difference in Students’ Lives
We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming, inclusive school in Banbury. This temporary, weekday role is perfect for someone who wants to support students’ learning and development while enjoying a work schedule without weekend commitments.
Your Role
- Support students one-on-one or in small groups across various subjects
- Assist with classroom activities, homework, and exam preparation
- Help set and monitor personalised learning targets
- Deliver tailored interventions to meet individual student needs
- Support educational activities both on-site and off-site
- Act as a key worker for designated pupils
- Contribute to lunch, break, and cover duties
- Promote a safe and positive environment while upholding safeguarding standards
What We’re Looking For
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
- Experience in education, youth work, or community support
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic digital tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptable, proactive, and team-oriented
Desirable Skills
- Experience supporting autistic students
- Confidence assisting with STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering, maths)
