We’re looking for compassionate and skilled Residential Children’s Workers to join our team in Buckinghamshire. You’ll provide high-quality support to children and young people with EBD, autism and learning differences in residential settings, using a person-centred approach to care that promotes independence, confidence, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct care and support, including personal care and daily routines
- Help children develop life skills and participate in activities
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to follow care plans and risk assessments
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with safeguarding requirements
- Ensure a safe, nurturing environment that supports positive outcomes for children
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting children or young people with EBD, autism or learning differences (desirable but not essential)
- Caring, patient, and empathetic approach
- Flexible to work day, night, and weekend shifts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
