Key Responsibilities
- Lead creative and educational activities to encourage children’s learning and development, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive setting where children can flourish, feel happy, and cared for
- Work closely with your team to create a positive and supportive atmosphere, fostering strong relationships with colleagues, children, and parents
- Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, sleep times, and outdoor play, ensuring every child’s needs are met and exceeded
Required Skills & Experience
- A genuine passion for working with children, with a patient, caring, and understanding approach
- Creativity, energy, and a proactive approach to childcare, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and build strong relationships with parents and carers
- Childcare qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare, are desirable but not essential, as we provide comprehensive training and support
