Reference No: CSL3Y. Temporary position for Qualified Early Years Practitioners in Nurseries, Pre-Schools, After School Clubs and Holiday Clubs in Yeovil and surrounding areas. Great rates of pay: £15 per hour. Closes: September 22, 2025.

We are looking for Qualified Early Years Practitioners to provide care and support to the under 5s, creating a fun and happy environment for children to play and learn. The role includes play work, activities, support with feeding, personal care and supporting the staff team with daily tasks. Full-time hours are available or you can work just one day a week for flexibility. You may stay on one site or move between locations depending on your preference.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care and support to children under 5 in nurseries, pre-schools, after school clubs and holiday clubs.
  • Engage in play activities and educational tasks to support development.
  • Assist with feeding and personal care as required.
  • Support the staff team with daily tasks and activities.
  • Adapt to on-going work arrangements across one site or multiple locations.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to Level 3 in childcare & education or equivalent (or currently Level 2 with relevant experience).
  • Training and experience in childcare.
  • Flexible and able to work in nurseries, pre-schools, after school clubs and holiday clubs.
