We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive school in Chipping Norton. This temporary weekday role is perfect for someone eager to make a meaningful impact on students’ learning—without weekend commitments.
In this rewarding position, you’ll provide classroom and community-based support, help deliver personalised learning plans, and contribute to a positive, inclusive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one and small group support across various subjects
- Assist with classwork, homework, and exam preparation
- Help set and track individual student targets
- Deliver tailored interventions to meet student needs
- Support learning both in the classroom and during off-site activities
- Act as a key worker for assigned pupils
- Supervise lunch, breaks, and cover duties as required

What You’ll Need
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)

- Confidence using Microsoft Office and basic digital tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, flexible, and team-oriented approach
Desirable
- Experience supporting autistic students
