We are looking for Temporary Agency Workers to join our team in Newport and the surrounding areas, providing essential support in residential settings.
Pay: Β£13.85-Β£14.65 p/h
Shifts: Days and nights
As a Care worker you will:
- Operate equipment, such as hoists, to assist with the moving and handling of the clients.
- Provide assistance with daily activities such as personal care, light domestic duties and meal times.
- Offer companionship and be a friendly face to the service users, to help with their emotional wellbeing.
- Communicate with families and other health care professionals effectively.
- Work in a person centred way, ensuring the needs of the client are at the core of the service you provide.
- Ensure records are kept up to date and accurate.
Requirements:
- 6 months UK care experience.
- An enhanced DBS or willingness to undertake one.
- A caring personality and a strong desire to support others.
- A practical manual handling certificate
