We are looking for a SENCO Practitioner to join a nursery in Bristol, committed to high-quality early years education where every child can thrive. The Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to join our dedicated team. You will play a pivotal role in supporting children with SEND, guiding staff, and ensuring our nursery continues to meet and exceed Ofsted standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate SEND provision and inclusive learning strategies.
  • Assess, monitor, and track children’s progress and development plans.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to nursery staff on special educational needs, early intervention, and inclusive practice.
  • Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies such as speech and language therapists, educational psychologists, and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with statutory requirements and SEND Code of Practice.
