Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional and practical support tailored to each child or young person.
  • Assist with daily routines, including personal care, education, and engaging activities.

About You:

  • Naturally caring and compassionate, with a genuine passion for supporting young people.
  • Understanding of the emotional and developmental needs of children and teenagers.
  • Able to create a safe, fun, and empowering environment.
  • Confident in assisting with routines and day-to-day practical tasks.
  • Experience in childcare, education, youth work, or support is desirable (but not essential).
  • A driving licence is beneficial but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Creative, empathetic, and motivated to engage students with diverse needs.
  • Previous experience supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is an advantage.
  • Willingness to complete personal care and manual handling training if required.
