We are currently recruiting experienced Care Assistants to join our growing agency team in Cwmbran. This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated and compassionate carers looking for flexible agency work within care homes, nursing homes, and supported living environments.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering compassionate, person-centred care and support to service users.
- Assisting with safe moving and handling procedures in accordance with individual care plans and health and safety guidelines.
- Administering medication accurately and in line with organisational policies and procedures.
- Supporting individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, eating, and mobility.
- Observing, monitoring, and documenting residents' wellbeing, promptly reporting any changes or concerns.
- Promoting independence, dignity, privacy, and respect in all aspects of care.
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues and adhering to personalised care plans to ensure high standards of support.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents in accordance with infection control and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months UK-based care experience
- Experience with moving and handling
- A caring, reliable, and professional attitude
- Good communication skills
