We are urgently recruiting experienced Residential Childrens Support Workers for agency shifts across Swindon and the surrounding areas.
If you have previous experience working in social care and are confident supporting children and young people within residential settings, we want to hear from you.
THE ROLE
Youll be supporting children and young people with:
- Day-to-day care and routines
- Emotional wellbeing and development
- Positive behaviour support
- Activities, independence and life skills
- Safeguarding and maintaining a safe environment
- Challenging situations and behaviours
- Building positive and trusting relationships
- Supporting young people to achieve their individual goals
WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous social care experience essential
- Experience working with children and young people highly desirable
- Experience within residential childcare xgikmsk desirable
- Reliable, professional and resilient
- Confident supporting challenging behaviour
- Caring, patient and non-judgemental
- Available for day shifts, night shifts or both
