Temporary Nursery Assistant – Taunton. Pay: £13.85 per hour.
We are currently recruiting Temporary Nursery Assistants to work in nurseries across Taunton on a flexible, agency basis. This role is ideal for caring, reliable individuals who enjoy supporting young children in a safe, stimulating environment.
Role responsibilities:
- Supporting children aged 0–5 with daily activities and play
- Assisting with learning activities in line with the EYFS
- Ensuring a safe, clean, and nurturing environment
- Working as part of a team to support children’s development
- Following safeguarding and nursery policies at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting (preferred)
- A genuine passion for working with children
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Relevant childcare qualification (desirable but not essential)
