Are you compassionate, reliable, and ready to make a real difference in people’s lives? Our growing care agency is looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Rhondda Cynon Taff!
As a Support Worker, you will:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and household tasks, using a person‑centred approach to ensure their needs are met.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
- Help clients maintain their independence and well‑being by supporting them in community activities and appointments.
- Safely assist clients with mobility using Moving & Handling techniques, ensuring their safety and dignity at all times.
- Support individuals who may display challenging behaviour, responding calmly and effectively to ensure a safe and positive environment.
- Support clients in achieving their goals and aspirations, promoting a sense of purpose and fulfilment.
Requirements:
- At least 6 months UK based experience in care and support work.
- Driving license and access to vehicle – preferred.
- A caring, patient, and reliable attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience working with individuals with challenging behaviour.
- Ability to manage situations confidently using de‑escalation techniques.
- Understanding of positive behaviour support and person‑centred care.
