Support Worker – Abingdon

£15.50–£16.00 per hour | Flexible shifts | Make a real difference

The role

  • Supporting children, young people, and adults with day‑to‑day routines, including personal care
  • Providing tailored support for individuals with complex needs and neurodiverse conditions
  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and the development of life skills
  • Supporting access to education, activities, and the wider community
  • Following individual support plans and working closely with a supportive team
  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and person‑centred environment

About you

  • Caring, patient, and proactive, with a genuine passion for supporting others
  • Comfortable working with children and young people with complex needs and neurodiversity
  • Flexible to work a range of shifts (days, evenings, and nights)
  • Experience is beneficial, but not essential – full training provided
  • Strong communication skills and a calm, resilient approach
  • Enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain one
