We are looking for a Room Leader for a maternity cover position in a welcoming, child-focused nursery in Bristol, dedicated to delivering high-quality early years education and childcare. The Role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader to join our team on a maternity cover basis. You will be responsible for leading a nursery team, planning and delivering EYFS-based activities, and ensuring the smooth running of your room. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about child development and early years leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and manage your nursery team, providing support and professional development.
- Plan and deliver engaging early years activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Ensure a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment for children.
- Observe, assess, and support children's learning and development.
- Maintain effective communication with parents and colleagues.

Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or above (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in nursery leadership or room leader role.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development principles.
- Excellent team management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Passion for delivering high-quality childcare and supporting early learning.
