Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable children and young people? We are looking for an experienced Residential Children’s Worker to join our agency team in Caerphilly.
Role Overview: You will provide care, guidance, and support to children and young people who are at risk, helping them develop positive behaviours and emotional resilience. This is a hands-on role within a residential setting, where your dedication and experience will make a real difference.
Requirements:
- At least 6 months proven UK experience working with at-risk children and young people
- Enhanced DBS check
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child development
- Ability to deliver individualised care plans and manage challenging behaviours
- Excellent communication, empathy, and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
- Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent (desirable)
