The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be an important part of the nursery team, helping to provide a positive, safe and engaging environment for children.
You will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality care and education.
- Supporting children's physical, emotional and educational development.
- Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities.
- Observing children and contributing to their learning records.
- Following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Encouraging children's confidence, independence and curiosity.
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety.
What You'll Need
To be considered for these opportunities, you should have:
- A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- A genuine passion for childcare and children's development.
- A reliable, positive and professional approach.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A sound understanding of the EYFS.
- The ability to create a caring and stimulating environment for children.
