Are you an experienced Support Worker ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join a dedicated team supporting children and young people in a residential setting in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in creating a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where young people can thrive.
The Role
- Lead by example, providing high-quality care and support
- Support children and young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours
- Act as a key worker, contributing to care planning and reviews
- Promote independence, emotional wellbeing, and positive outcomes
- Support and guide junior staff members on shift
- Ensure safeguarding procedures, policies, and records are maintained to a high standard
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People or equivalent)
- Proven experience working with vulnerable children and young people
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and residential care standards
- Confident, resilient, and able to lead shifts effectively
- Flexible to work full‑time hours, including evenings, weekends, and sleep‑ins
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
