We are seeking an experienced Permanent Level 3 Nursery Nurse for a beautiful, small independent nursery in Leighton Buzzard. This highly rewarding role places you at the heart of a friendly, supportive team in a nurturing rural setting. You’ll work with children aged 0–5, creating engaging learning experiences and contributing to a warm, inspiring early years environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality childcare and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Plan and implement creative and engaging activities for toddlers and preschool children
- Observe and monitor children’s development, recording progress accurately
- Build strong relationships with children and their families
- Maintain a safe, stimulating, and welcoming nursery environment
Required Skills & Experience
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
- Proven experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Strong understanding of child development and EYFS principles
- Patient, enthusiastic, and professional approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
