We’re recruiting on behalf of a nursery in Eastleigh that’s looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and motivated Room Leader to join their team on a permanent, full‑time basis.

As Room Leader, you’ll play a key role in creating a fun, stimulating and nurturing environment where children feel safe, confident and excited to learn. From planning engaging activities and supporting children’s development to guiding your room team and helping everyday nursery life run smoothly, you’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact.

We’re looking for someone who can bring energy, creativity and confidence to the room — someone who leads by example, encourages their colleagues and makes sure every child has the chance to shine!

With a salary of £29,000–£35,000 per year, this is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your early years career and make your mark in a permanent leadership role.

Required Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about early years education and providing high-quality childcare
• Confident leading, motivating and supporting a nursery room team
• Creative, enthusiastic and full of ideas for engaging activities
• Knowledgeable about children’s learning and development
• Organised and confident supporting the day-to-day running of a room
• Caring, patient and committed to meeting children’s individual needs
• A positive role model who can build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment
• Relevant early years qualifications and previous nursery experience will be important for this leadership position.
