We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our agency team, supporting a well-established nursery in the Cwmbran area. As a Nursery Assistant, you will help staff provide high-quality care and early learning experiences for young children, contributing to their development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting children's play, learning, and daily routines to create a stimulating and engaging environment
  • Helping maintain a safe, welcoming, and organised setting that promotes learning and development
  • Assisting staff with supervision, meal and snack times, and hygiene routines
  • Setting up and tidying away activities and resources throughout the day
  • Engaging positively with children to encourage confidence, independence, and curiosity

Required Skills & Experience

  • At least 6 months UK early years experience with an understanding of childcare principles and practices
  • Genuine interest in supporting children's development and a passion for early years education
  • Ability to work well within a team and follow guidance, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
