Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred support with daily living activities, including personal care and household tasks, ensuring each individual’s needs and preferences are met.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to help reduce loneliness, promote wellbeing, and encourage positive mental health.
- Support individuals to maintain independence by enabling participation in community activities, social engagement, and attendance at appointments.
- Assist with safe mobility and transfers using approved Moving and Handling techniques, always prioritising dignity, comfort, and safety.
- Respond to individuals who may present with challenging behaviours in a calm, professional, and supportive manner, ensuring a safe environment for all.
- Encourage and empower clients to achieve their personal goals, build confidence, and improve their overall quality of life.
What We’re Looking For
- All Wales Manual Handling Passport – Essential
- Minimum 6 months UK-based care/support experience
- A caring, patient and professional attitude
- Reliability and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts
Applicants must hold a valid All Wales Manual Handling Passport.
