The Role
We are recruiting Residential Support Workers for a new client in Melksham, offering agency opportunities for individuals with experience supporting children and young people in a residential setting.
This is an opportunity to work within a residential children’s home, providing consistent care, practical support and guidance to young people who need a safe and supportive environment.
We are looking for reliable, compassionate and confident individuals who understand the demands of residential childcare and can build positive relationships with young people while maintaining clear boundaries and routines.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day care and emotional support to children and young people.
- Building positive, professional relationships and acting as a consistent role model.
- Supporting daily routines, education, activities and the development of independent living skills.
- Promoting positive behaviour and responding appropriately to challenging situations.
- Following individual care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectivey with colleagues.
- Helping to maintain a safe, structured and supportive home environment.
