Nursery Nurse - Abingdon

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join our team. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional care and education to children aged 0-5 years old. You will work closely with our experienced team to create a stimulating and supportive environment where every child feels valued and respected., * Engage children in a variety of age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

• Provide personalized care and support to meet the individual needs of each child, including feeding, changing, and comforting as required.

• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, maintaining open communication and collaboration.

• Observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting to parents/carers on a regular basis.

• Create a safe and inclusive environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and promoting good hygiene practices.

• Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development through play, exploration, and guided activities.

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare or equivalent (e.g., CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Childcare and Education).

• Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 years old in a nursery or childcare setting.

• Knowledge of the EYFS framework and its implementation in early years practice.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.

• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
