We are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer for a leading international business who provide specialist automated fluid filling equipment to the Automotive sector. This is a permanent role that has been created due to expansion in the UK. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable background working within a maintenance based role within an Automotive manufacturing environment. Experience working with Mechanical/ Electrical / Hydraulics systems is a must. Candidates must have strong communication skills and be confident in speaking with clients at all levels and be confident in upselling new opportunities . This is a Days based role Monday – Friday 0830 – 1730 + No Call Out All travel time is paid door to door + all additional hours paid at premium rates. The role will cover a range of sites between Liverpool and Woking but there are some across the UK so a willingness to travel is required. This role would ideally suit a candidate with a maintenance background looking to develop and progress within the industry. Role Description * Provide support to client sites across the UK and Ireland. * Support Customer’s automation systems to aid in improving productivity. * To support the introduction of new projects on time and within budget constraints * Fault finding and rectification of Mechanical and Electrical systems * Upsell of new products and upgrade works * Provide support in installation of new capital equipment. Skills and Qualifications * Demonstrable experience working within a maintenance role within an automotive manufacturing environment * Candidates must be Time Served in a suitable discipline * Strong working knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical maintenance * Strong customer service mind set * Willing to travel as required to sites in the UK and Ireland.
