The predicted salary is between 36000 - 44000 Β£ per year.
We are looking to recruit a design engineer to join a leading client in Sheffield on a Contract basis on a range large scale fabrication and machined parts related projects.
This is a contract role initially for 3 months but may be extended
Candidates must have expertise in working on medium to heavy fabricated products.
This will be based on site in Sheffield therefore candidates must be willing to work on site 5 days per week.
This contract is Inside IR35
Key Requirements
- Production of high-quality engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of engineering drawing projects
- Conduct quality assurance (QA/QC) checks across engineering CAD deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to resolve design issues and ensure feasibility.
- Assist in developing CAD systems, best practices, and drawing office procedures.
- Manage document control processes, including drawing file management and transmittals.
Key Requirements
- HNC/HND or equivalent in Engineering.
- Demonstrable background working with Machined and Fabricated parts
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
