Our client, an industry leading and expanding engineering business based in Bradford, is looking to recruit a Projects Operations Manager to join the business on a permanent basis due to continued growth. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a lead Project Management role within an engineering environment (fuel infrastructure, mechanical engineering, construction, utilities, or related sectors), with the ability to see a project from cradle to grave while being able to engage with all stakeholders. Typical projects are between £250k - £1M with the business turning over £5M - £8M.
Candidates will be required to oversee all aspects of the projects from purchasing, planning, to site installation. Ideally, candidates will be degree, HND/HNC qualified in a mechanical, electrical, or civils based discipline. Qualifications in Prince2, PMP, or APM are desirable along with SMSTS, IOSH, or NEBOSH. Ideally, candidates will have experience working within a mechanical, electrical, or civils based environment. Exposure to NEC or JCT projects is a must.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM. This role is available for an immediate start and will be based on site 5 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple installation projects nationwide.
- Manage project teams, site managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure success.
