Our client, a leading business in the valve sector are looking to recruit an experienced Project Coordinator to join the business in West Yorkshire on a permanent basis due to continued growth. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in Project Management within a engineering/ manufacturing environment ideally with exposure to the Oil and Gas/ Nuclear markets Candidates will be required to support the Senior Project Managers in providing general support to projects including administrative, coordination and expediting tasks. Ideally candidates will have working knowledge of the Valve sector however those with a strong projects background within manufacturing engineering will be considered Hours – Mon–Thurs: 08:00–16:30 / Fri: 08:00–13:00 This role is available for an immediate start and full time in the office. Responsibilities * Maintaining and monitoring project plans and project schedules. * Organising, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings. (inc. all inspection activities) * Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings. * Preparing necessary presentations materials for meetings. * Ensuring project deadlines are met. * Determining and identifying project changes. * Providing administrative support as needed. * Undertaking project tasks as required. * Assisting in delivering project strategies. * Ensuring projects adhere to project milestones and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project. * Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable. * Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution. * Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members * Adhere to company processes and procedures with regards document control routines and functions. * Liaise with Document Controllers to ensure delivery of project documentation in accordance with clients’ requirements for projects. * Liaise with quality department to ensure control and verification of incoming documentation. * Good understanding of technical documentation for ensuring it is correct and complete. * Control and manage electronic and hard copy documents between project team and external parties. Maintain traceability of project documentation. * Prepare document status reports for both internal and client requirements. * Liaise with quality department to ensure timely preparation and availability of final documentation packages for final handover to clients (i.e., User Manual, MRB). * Assist in continuous improvement of document control processes, procedures and information management as per ISO 9001:2008. * Ensure all work personally undertaken is carried out in compliance with current H&S rules and safety systems and is in line with the requirements of the duty of care document. * QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS * Demonstrable experience in project management and streamlining projects already in process within a manufacturing/ engineering environment * Previous experience working on projects in the Oil and Gas/ Nuclear sector * Ideally qualified in an Engineering Discipline * Excellent communication skills * Strong organisational and planning skills * Ability to prioritise workload and manage work pressure This vacancy is being advertised by Complete Talent Services Ltd who are acting as an Employment Business
