We are recruiting for an Electrical Facilities Engineer to work for a leading Manufacturing site in Preston. You will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks on a day to day basis across the site. You will also be responsible for statutory compliance including emergency light testing, PAT Testing, Fixed Wire Testing and L8 testing. Ideally the successful candidate will have previous experience in Electrical maintenance within commercial/industrial environments. Experience working on any industrial plant would also be advantageous. You will also be required to carry out daily checks on Steam Plant on site which you will be fully trained on β experience or BOAS qualifications would be advantageous but for the right person this will also be provided. Candidates must be time served and electrically qualified with 18th Edition. Hours β Mon β Friday 8AM β 4PM.

- Carry out test, servicing, diagnostic, repairs and calibrate advance electrical and mechanical installations
- Work safely and in accordance to Health and Safety procedures
- Perform maintenance tasks and other associated tasks on any part of the site as and when required
- Operate as part of an effective professional maintenance team
Skills & Attributes
- Time Served Electrical Engineer with demonstrable experience in an Electrical maintenance role.
- 18th Edition qualified
- Experience preferably in a similar Facilities Management / Building Services background
- Experience in maintenance of industrial plant - Advantageous
- Experience in other engineering disciplines e.g. Mechanical/Plumbing
- Knowledge of Legionella Safety Management
