Due to continued growth, we are recruiting a CNC Turner to join our leading client based near Huyton, Liverpool on a permanent basis. Successful candidates will ideally be time served to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings and specifications; however, those with demonstrable experience will be considered.
Candidates will be required to programme, set and operate a range of CNC Lathes utilising Mazatrol or Fanuc controls. Candidates without programming experience will be considered and training will be provided. Candidates will have worked with a variety of materials including Stainless Steel and Mild Steel Castings and Forgings.
Work Hours and Shift Schedule:
- 40 hours per week
- Week 1: Monday to Friday 6AM-2PM
- Week 2: Monday - Thursday 2PM-12PM
- Overtime paid at premium rates.
Qualifications:
- Experience working within a machine shop environment machining components to fine tolerances.
- The ability to programme, set and operate CNC Lathes utilising Fanuc or Mazatrol controls.
- The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings.
- Ideally time-served with demonstrable experience programming and operating CNC Lathes working to very tight tolerances.
- Experience using Fanuc or Mazatrol controls - programming experience is preferred but candidates with experience in setting/editing will be considered.
- Candidates will have worked with a variety of materials including Stainless Steel and Mild Steel Castings and Forgings.
