HSE Advisor (temp) Business Area: Subsea - KMS Direct Reporting: HSQE Manager, UK Business Functional Reporting:
Purpose: To support the effective implementation, management, and continuous improvement of the company's Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) programmes and activities.
The role will assist in promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and company standards, and contributing to the achievement of HSE performance objectives.
Key
Responsibilities: (Key Tasks)
- Support the HSE team in driving continuous improvement in safety performance, measured through key performance indicators including TRIR and the company sustainability index.
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments when required.
- Coordinate and administer periodic HSE Committee meetings, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and action tracking.
- Manage observation, hazard identification, and near-miss reporting processes.
- Deliver or coordinate HSE training and awareness programmes required.
- Utilise the organisation's compliance management system to identify applicable legal and regulatory requirements and support the implementation of associated action plans.
- Provide administrative support for HSE databases and systems, including the maintenance of training records, risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and compliance documentation.
- Support the administration and maintenance of HSE and quality management databases and records.
- Assist with the management and monitoring of contractor HSE management systems and associated documentation.
- Contribute to HSE reporting, data analysis, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Control and distribution of PPE.
- Support investigations into incidents, near misses, and non-conformances, including the identification and tracking of corrective actions where required.

- Ensure HSE records, systems, and documentation are maintained accurately and in a timely manner.
