Due to continued growth, we are recruiting a number of CNC Machinists to join our leading client based near Irvine on a permanent basis. Successful candidates will be time served to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings and specifications.

We are looking for candidates who are able to programme, set and operate using Fanuc, Mazatrol or Heidenhain controls. Experience with CNC Milling, Horizontal or Vertical Boring will be considered.

Hours:

  • WEEK 1: Monday to Friday (07:30 AM until 16:30 PM)
  • WEEK 2: Monday (22:30 PM until 07:30 AM) & Tuesday to Thursday (21:30 PM until 07:30 AM)

Overtime paid at premium rates.

The ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience working within a machine shop environment machining components to fine tolerances.
  • The ability to programme, set and operate CNC Millers, Lathes, Vertical Borers, Horizontal Borers utilising Mazatrol, Heidenhain or Fanuc controls.
  • The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings.

Candidate Skills:

  • Ideally time-served with demonstrable experience programming, setting and operating CNC Millers, Vertical Borers, Horizontal Borers working to very tight tolerances.
  • Experience programming using Fanuc, Heidenhain or Mazatrol controls.
  • Experience working with a range of materials including Stainless Steel, Mild Steel and Inconel.
