Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for identifying and securing new business opportunities, this role offers the perfect platform to make a real impact. This role will require travel both in the UK and across Europe therefore a willingness to travel to client sites is a must.
About the Role:
- Identify and develop high-value opportunities within the Defence & Space sector.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term success.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Manage pricing strategies and ensure commercial success.
- Work closely with internal teams to transition projects smoothly into production.
- Represent business at key trade shows and industry events.
What We're Looking For:
- Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven background in Business Development and Sales pipeline management.
- Strong planning, prioritisation, and communication skills.
- Ability to be the voice of the customer within the business.
- Experience in negotiation and commercial discussions.
- Desirable:
- Background in Defence or Aerospace industries.
- Knowledge of contracts, negotiations, and export trade controls (ITAR, government security classifications).
- Experience with engineering drawings and new product introductions.
