Our client, a leading manufacturing in the HVAC sector, are looking to recruit a Fitters mate to join the business on a Temp to Permanent basis due to ongoing project works in and around the London area – Mainly Hayes The successful candidates will be involved in working alongside the site installation team involved in installation of Air Handling Units and Acoustic products, Candidates will have a background as a Mechanical Mate/ Labour ideally with experience in install and commissioning of HVAC/ Mechanical plant. Candidates must hold a Valid CSCS Card – IPAF would also be an advantage. This role will require travel to sites around the UK, mainly the London area therefore a Full UK License and the willingness to travel is a must. Hours 39 hour basic – Any OT worked is paid at premium rates to boost earnings Key Responsibilities: * Work with our on-site installation teams, usually in pairs fitting air handling units and acoustic products. * Provide assistance as required to the lead site engineer. * Undertake general labouring duties. * The role will involve working away, typically Monday – Friday. * Regular overtime will be required including travel to accommodation on Sunday evenings * Working in the factory will be required when there is a shortage of site work.
