Due to recent company growth and increase in workload we are looking to recruit an experienced Pump Service Engineers to join a leading business looking to expand their national field service team. This role provides the opportunity to work on a range of highly secured sites across the UK so the ability and willingness to travel and clear criminal record is a must! The successful candidate MUST have demonstrable experience in carrying out pump maintenance along with other rotating equipment (both corrective and preventative maintenance). Candidates must be time served in a relevant discipline with a Full UK Driving License. In accordance with business policy medical or drugs and alcohol testing will be required. Standard 37 hours per week – Flexible approach to hours is required to suit client / site requirements. Typical earnings Circa £60k Role Description * Supporting our customers at their site or locations. * Fault finding on a wide range of rotating machinery. * Strip, inspect and re-build a variety of Pumps following pre-established work scopes. * Equipment removal, installations, and commissioning activities. * Perform alignment checks using DTls or Laser alignment equipment. Skills / Qualifications * Candidates will ideally be time served in relevant Discipline. * Experienced in service and overhaul of pumps * Understanding of the principles of Mechanical seals would be advantageous. * Full UK driving license * CCNSG Card/ Safety Passport – advantageous * Ability to obtain security clearance where needed. * Ability to accurately read, review and interpret manufacturing designs, drawing and schematics.
