Our Client, a leading and expanding engineering business are looking to recruit an experienced Scheduler to join the business on a permanent basis at their site in Bradford. The role will be responsible for planning and coordinating the daily workload of a team of field engineers across the UK carrying out installation and inspection works. You will manage engineer schedules, customer appointments, emergency call-outs and project planning while maintaining clear communication with engineers, customers and internal departments. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a Scheduler, Service Coordinator or planning role. The ability to multitask and work in a busy environment is a must.
Hours - Monday - Friday 8.30 β 5PM
Role description:
- Schedule and coordinate daily workloads for nationwide field engineers.
- Plan installations, maintenance visits, inspections, repairs and reactive call-outs.
- Allocate work based on engineer skills, location, availability and customer priority.
- Respond quickly to urgent and emergency requests, adjusting schedules where required.
- Liaise with customers to arrange appointments and provide regular updates.
- Communicate daily with engineers regarding work schedules, site information and changes.
- Monitor engineer progress throughout the day and proactively resolve scheduling issues.
- Coordinate travel, accommodation and logistics for engineers.
