Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing client based in Newcastle, are looking to recruit a number of Electrical Technician to join the business on a permanent basis due to business growth.\\nThe successful candidates will be required to assemble and test Electrical components used in sub assemblies and final build.\\nCandidates will ideally be electrically trained with demonstrable experience in reading Electrical Schematics, panel wiring, soldering, crimping and terminating cabling.\\nThis role is more than just panel building and provides the opportunity to work on equipment at the forefront of their industry\\nHours\\nMonday – Thursday – 6:30am to 3:00pm / Friday – 6:30am – 12:00pm\\nAny OT worked over 37 hours per week are paid at premium rates to boost earnings\\nAverage of 15 – 20 hours per month available\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n * Assemble electronic/electrical sub assemblies from schematic diagrams, drawings or verbal instructions and following works order instructions to ISO9001 standards\\n * Wire and solder wiring harness and cable assemblies, transformer assemblies, control consoles, connectors, etc\\n * Perform limited troubleshooting and testing of assemblies\\n * Ensures assembly/sub-assembly build times are met to maintain department efficiency target of 100%\\n * Ensures assembly/sub assembly build times are met for major project schedule\\n * Complete all necessary documentation according to the requirements, (including timesheets, ECN etc.)\\n * Carry out job tasks safely using good working practices\\n * Carry out all assembly work to the required department quality standards\\nSkills & Qualifications:\\n * Ideally candidates will be Time Served in an electrical discipline\\n * A good understanding of electrical/electronic systems essential.\\n * Technical competence in Low voltage AC/DC panel wiring/looming, High voltage installations,\\n * Must be able to read and interpret drawings and sketches\\nThis vacancy is being advertised by Complete Talent Services Ltd who are acting as an Employment Agency
