Due to continued growth, we are recruiting a CNC Miller to join our leading client based near Keighley on a permanent basis. Successful candidates will be time served to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings and specifications; however, those with demonstrable work experience will be considered.
Candidates will be required to programme, set and operate a range of CNC Millers utilising Fanuc controls. Candidates with strong editing/set-up experience will also be considered. Due to the nature of work produced, candidates will be required to pass a security check and therefore must be a UK Citizen and have a clean criminal record.
Hours: 39 hours per week (Flexible Hours Mon- Thurs 6 - 3 / 7 - 4 / 8 - 5 / Friday 6 - 11 / 7–12 / 8–1). Overtime paid at premium rates.
The Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Experience working within a machine shop environment machining components to fine tolerances
- The ability to programme, set and operate CNC Millers utilising Fanuc controls
- The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings
Candidate Skills:
- Ideally time-served with demonstrable experience programming and operating CNC Millers working to very tight tolerances
- Experience programming using Fanuc controls
- Experience working with castings and a range of materials including stainless steel, duplex, bronze, and aluminium would be advantageous
