About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing control systems for bespoke industrial machinery. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless automation and control functionality.

Hours – 40 hours per week (7-4 Mon – Thurs / 7-12 Friday OR 8-5 Mon – Thurs / 8-1 Friday). This role may require some international travel (4 – 6 weeks a year) so a willingness to travel as needed is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop control systems for special purpose machinery.
  • Program and debug PLC systems from Siemens, Allen Bradley, or Mitsubishi.
  • Write and optimize code in C, Visual Basic, and Ladder Logic.
  • Integrate pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems within automation projects.
  • Ensure control systems meet industry standards and client specifications.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and improve control system performance.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to enhance system efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in control system design for special purpose machinery.
  • Proficiency in C programming and Visual Basic.
  • Expertise in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or Mitsubishi).
  • Strong knowledge of Ladder Logic.
  • Understanding of pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
