We are currently recruiting a Goods In Operative/ Material Handler to join a leading manufacturer based near Baildon/ Shipley. The role will involve day to day duties within the warehouse including goods in, picking stock from stores for kitting and FLT Driving (Reach Truck/ Counterbalance).
Candidates must have experience working within a similar role, ideally with experience within an Engineering/ Manufacturing environment, be physically fit and hold an in date license. Experience using an ERP System would be highly advantageous. This is a permanent role available for an immediate start.
Hours: Mon β Friday 40 hours. Flexible start between 5:30β8:30am | Flexible finish between 4:30β7:30pm. All Overtime is paid at premium rates.
Job Description:
- Unloading vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
- Checking supplier paperwork matches what is being delivered.
- Checking material idents match paperwork.
- Ensuring material locations are logged correctly.
- Moving material locations and maintaining the layout of materials.
- Keep warehouse tidy and clean.
- Supply Production with their raw material requirements in a timely manner.
- Conduct perpetual Stock checks throughout the year as required.
- Strapping pallets for despatch.
- Loading company van for deliveries (strapping the pallets down).
- Destruction and disposal of non-euro pallets and crates.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience working within a Warehouse role.
- Experience of picking stock accurately.
- In Date Counterbalance/ Reach license is advantageous.
- Good IT Skills.
- Flexible approach to working hours to meet customer demands.
