Our client, a leadingengineeringManufacturing company based near Yorkare looking to recruit a Quality Manager to join their existing team on a permanent basis. Leading the quality team, you will be responsible for leading all quality assurance and quality control activities across the manufacture, assembly, testing, and delivery products and systems. Ensuring compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and the Quality Management System whilst driving continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. Interested candidates will ideally be degree Qualified in a engineering/ quality disciplinewith a demonstrable background within Quality Engineering with a broad understanding of manufacturing processes including Fabrication, Machining and Assembly.. This position is based on days and available for an immediate start. Hours - Mon - Thurs 0830 - 1630 / Fri 0830 - 1600 Role Description Ensure quality requirements are embedded throughout the product lifecycle, from contract review through manufacture, testing, delivery, and aftermarket support. Lead customer quality interactions, including audits, witness testing, concession requests, and quality performance reviews. Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives and support critical supplier audits. Ensure robust traceability of materials, components, and manufacturing records for subsea products. Implement, maintain, manage and improve all aspects of the Quality Management System in accordance with industry standards (ISO 9001 and API-Q1 where applicable) Manage all aspects of internal and external audits Management Representative for the Quality Management System Defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspection, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products Lead quality team in investigations of non-conformances and customer issues Responsible for collecting quality data, data analysis, root cause analysis, reporting and continuous improvements in products, services and processes Responsible for final acceptance testing of all products Responsible for implementing the internal audit program for site, including coordination of training of internal auditors, preparing checklist/auditor guides, scheduling, conducting and reporting. Coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actions for gaps identified in audits Support, develop and implement supplier quality assurance and control processes. Liaise with Supply Chain and provide support as needed on Supplier audits, Supplier performance evaluation KPIs and other aspects Supervise quality department personnel and manage, train, develop and motivate them to achieve overall quality goals and objectives.
