Due to continued growth, we are recruiting a Machine Shop Technician / CNC Miller to join our leading client based near Keighley on a permanent basis. Successful candidates will ideally be time served to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings and specifications; however, those with demonstrable work experience will be considered.
Candidates will be required to edit programmes, set and operate a range of CNC Millers utilising Siemens Controls; however, candidates with experience in Fanuc/Mazatrol will also be considered.
Standard Days: Monday - Friday 07:45 AM - 4 PM. Shifts available on Earlies/Lates/Nights also - shift premiums apply. Overtime available, all paid at premium rates.
The ideal candidates will have:
- Experience working within a machine shop environment machining components to fine tolerances.
- The ability to manipulate CNC Millers utilising Siemens/Fanuc/Mazatrol controls.
- The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings.
- Overhead crane operating experience.
Candidate Skills:
- Ideally time-served with demonstrable experience operating a CNC Miller working to very tight tolerances.
- Experience using Siemens controls to edit programmes; Fanuc or Mazatrol will be considered.
- Experience working on a range of materials including Stainless, Duplex, Bronze, Aluminium.
