The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.
Due to continued business growth, we are looking to recruit a Project Manager to join a well established Engineering business based near Alloa.
The successful candidate will join an established Projects team and will be required to support in delivering on a number of high level Nuclear projects therefore a strong projects and technical background is a must for this position.
Candidates will oversee the testing of large pump packages from assembly through test and paint therefore a shopfloor background and the ability to work with various stakeholder is also a must.
The Ideal candidate will have a demonstrable background in a Projects capacity with strong technical knowledge of rotating equipment ( Pumps/ Valves/ Motors).
This would suit a candidate with a background in Project Engineering/ Contract Engineering looking to take their career to the next level

Skills & Knowledge:
- Overall responsibility for Nuclear projects
- Responsible for the overall execution of the projects, including all elements of execution: Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost, following Business Standards and Procedures
- Ensuring project milestones and goals are met
- Day-to-day management of the project, organising and attending both internal and external meetings as required
- Initiate, update, track, control and distribute (as required) technical queries, non-conformances, and deviations
- Oversight of pump, motor, and associated components; design and manufacture according to technical specification for motor, technical specification for pump/motor unit and requirements for pump/motor interface
- Weekly / monthly reporting
- Ensure that Project Documentation and design requirements are completed to the required standard
- Actively seeking business development opportunities in the Nuclear sector
- Actively improve processes and procedures within the Project and suggest adaptations for broader business use.
- Overall liaison and co-ordination with the workshop and test teams to ensure timely actions in hand for project execution
Skills / Qualifications
- Strong background in a Project Management role
- Demonstrable technical background with knowledge of rotating equipment ( Pumps/ Valves/ Motors)
- Qualified to a minimum HNC Level within a relevant engineering discipline
- Strong Commercial knowledge
- Prince 2 or similar qualification preferential.
- Valid Passport and willingness to travel as required.
