Due to an increase in orders and business growth, we are looking to recruit a Systems Integration Technician for a leading global manufacturing client based North of York. This is a rare opportunity to join the business on a permanent basis in such a varied role.
The successful candidate will be required to carry out all aspects of system integration of subsea components prior to and during Factory Acceptance Testing. You will then be required to travel offshore/overseas to install/commission equipment in situ and also act as field support on and offshore.
Successful candidates will ideally be electrically trained and be 18th edition (17th considered) qualified. Offshore experience would be extremely advantageous but not essential to be considered.
Typical working hours - Mon - Thurs 0830AM - 4.30PM / Fri 0830AM - 4PM. All OT is paid at premium rates + offshore rates apply when overseas. Once trained, realistic earning potential in excess of £50k.
Role Description- Perform the commissioning and integration of products.
- Work closely with customers to complete factory acceptance testing (FATs).
- Serve as a field support technician on and offshore.
- Ensure a safe working environment as well as maintaining and servicing the integration test areas and equipment used.
- Interface with the engineering department on test specifications and procedures noting any deviations or discrepancies.
- Assist product support when required with faults or problems occurring off site, carrying out any in-house testing or fault finding required.
- Be an active part of the on-call out-of-hours technical support rota once experienced to a suitable level.
- Commission and integrate products to the required standards carrying out any necessary repairs or modifications in preparation for FATs with the customer.
- Complete factory FATs, passing on any customer requests additional to contracts either to the integration supervisor or project manager.

- Offshore experience (Advantageous)
- Offshore Certs (Advantageous but will be supplied for right candidate)
- Must be willing to travel as required (Global travel)
