Field Service Engineer (Mechanical)

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Field Service Engineerfor a market leading business within the Corrugation Industry who install and service equipment across sites in the UK and Ireland, This is a permanent role that has been created due to continued expansion.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable background working within an Electrical maintenance based role within an manufacturing environment.

Candidates willbe time served ( Minimum NVQ Level 3) Qualified in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience of working on large scale production equipment is a must.

Candidates must have experience working on a range of mechanical systems including Gearboxes, Motors, Shafts , Rollers, Chains/ Belts, Drives.

This is primarily a Days based role with current staff working on site 37.5 hours per week Overtime Travel.

Candidates can manage their own workload but will require weekend work.

All travel time is paid door to door all additional hours paid at premium rates
– Realistic Earnings up to £75k The role will cover sitesacross the UK so a willingness to travel is required.

This role would ideally suit a candidate with a demonstrable maintenance background looking to develop and progress into a field service based role.

Fault finding and rectification of Mechanical Faults Maintenance
– Routine and Reactive maintenancecovering all aspects of Mechanical work Training
– Operational and maintenance training of customer staff Skills and Qualifications Demonstrable experience working within a maintenance role within a industrialmanufacturing environment is a must Experience working on Corrugators is highly advantageous Field Service Experience
– advantageous Candidates must be time served andqualified in Mechanical Engineering Strong customer service mind set Willing to travel as required to sites in the UK and Ireland.
