Due to a large increase in workload, we are currently recruiting a number of CNC Millers to join our prestigious client near Rochdale on a permanent basis. The business is highly regarded as leaders in their sector of design of special purpose machinery.
Successful candidates MUST be time-served to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings, specifications and required quality standards. Candidates will be required to set and operate a number of different CNC Millers using Fanuc and Heidenhain controls to produce components from a range of materials including Stainless Steel and Mild Steel. Experience in programming is advantageous but not essential. Candidates with experience using Fanuc or Mazatrol or Heidenhain controls will be considered.
3 shift rotation - 6AM-2PM / 2PM - 10PM / 10PM - 6AM. Shift premium applied (20% earlies / 30% lates / 40% nights).
Job Description:
- Programme / Edit, set and operate CNC Millers using Heidenhain / Fanuc controls machining components to fine tolerances.
- Aid where required in the fitting department.
- Overhead crane operating experience.
Candidate Required Skills:
- Time-served with demonstrable experience programming / editing, setting and operating CNC Millers working to very tight tolerances.
- The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings.
- Experienced programming, setting and operating using Heidenhain / Fanuc or Mazatrol controls.
