The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
Due to an increase in workload and continued company growth we are recruiting a number of CNC Turners to join our client on a permanent basis near Shipley. The company are increasing capacity by expanding their weekend and night shifts.
Successful candidates will ideally be time served to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings and specification. Candidates will be required to set and operate CNC Lathes (including sliding head lathes) utilising Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controls; therefore, experience with this is a must.
Shifts available:
- Nights - Mon Thursday (40 hours)
- Weekends Fri Sunday (36 hours)
Flexible start / finish times available:
- Weekends - Start between 5:30am to 8:30am and finish between 5:30pm and 8:30pm
- Nights - Start between 5:30pm and 8:30pm and finishing between 4:30am and 7:30am
The Ideal candidates will have:
- Setting and operating CNC lathes using proven programs and tooling.
- Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controls experience.
- Running multiple machines and working with multiple materials.
- Performing in process inspection using hand measuring equipment and CMM.
- Maintaining the machine on a daily basis including coolant conditioning to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
