Overview
We are a sports, dance & gymnastics coaching provider offering a complete sports coaching service to schools, as well as a wide range of extra‑cultural sports clubs and holiday camps for children. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic junior coach to support our dance, cheerleading, and gymnastics sessions in primary schools and nurseries.
Responsibilities
- Full‑time teaching role across primary schools and nurseries.
- Morning sessions in nurseries (Hemel Hempstead, Potters Bar, Borehamwood, Barnet).
- Lunchtime and after‑school clubs in Hertfordshire.
- Support on holiday camps during half‑term and school holidays (required attendance).
- Annual leave: 4 weeks, to be scheduled in advance around camp dates.
- Shadow the Project Officer for a few sessions until comfortable leading sessions independently.
- Assist or lead dance/gymnastics sessions and complete simple admin tasks such as marketing and sales.
Working Hours
- Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm. Total weekly hours will not exceed 40 hours.
- Most nursery sessions start at 9am or 10am; most after‑school clubs finish at 4:30pm.
- Weekly hours may vary slightly depending on the timetable and seasonal activities, but you will be asked to complete a full 40‑hour week when required.
Qualifications
- A passion for dance, cheerleading, and gymnastics coaching.
- An interest in developing teaching and coaching skills.
- A friendly, enthusiastic, and proactive personality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and take feedback.
- Some experience assisting or leading dance/gymnastics sessions (preferred but not essential).
- A full driving licence and access to a reliable car.
